Information for Owners

Thank you for entering your horse at Belton International Horse Trials!  We very much look forward to welcoming you and your horses to Belton this year. If this is your first trip, a warm welcome, and if you are returning, we welcome you back and wish you every success over the weekend.  Over the years we have worked hard to ensure that your time at Belton is as enjoyable as possible, we are always looking at ways to enhance your experience and would welcome any feedback that you have.  We pride ourselves in the fact that we were one of the first organisers to publicly recognise owners by providing an owner’s facility which has now been running at Belton for 10 years.

In order to make your trip to Belton as easy and enjoyable as possible, please take a few minutes to read the following information:

We have been working closely with BE and now have a system in place that gives REGISTERED owners and riders with horses running at Belton the ability to enter the event site using their new BE Membership Card.  This should include primary members of syndicates.  Please ensure your membership card has a QR code on it – if it does not, please apply to BE for an updated card.

REGISTERED owners of foreign registered horses who are not therefore a BE Member or other owners who are not BE members will need to email before 6th April to obtain an e-ticket.

Tickets will not be needed if travelling in horse transport. Cars will not be permitted into the lorry park for reasons of space, but may use the Owners’ Car Park, which is adjacent.

We are unable to provide additional tickets for owners free of charge, but if you are an owner with a horse running you may book additional tickets at a cost of £10 per person for the duration of the event. These tickets will be available on a link here following ballot on 16th March. If you are using your BE membership card to gain entry, this will allow access to all occupants of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds for payments at the gate so please ensure you have your BE membership card with you.

BEDE Events pride ourselves in our recognition of the important part owners play in the sport. As such, we have provided an Owner’s Tent with views over both the show jumping and dressage arenas. We shall be offering tea, coffee and light lunches for your convenience. Please do feel free to come and use this facility over the weekend, it is there exclusively for your use.

Please follow event signage and use the Lion Gate for entry. Postcode is NG31 9SQ. We are sorry you will not be able to park in the lorry park due to space restrictions, however you will be parked adjacent for ease of access.
