When can we see the Cross Country?

Belton is a series of 3 one day events so all three phases are running on all three days. If you - d prefer to see the 3* Cross Country pop along on Sunday. Please click here for more information about what - s going on when at Belton.

Are there any mobility scooters available to hire?

Mobility scooters are available to hire privately from Fair Mobility, Bottesford. 01949 845189.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code, but the event will run come rain or shine so remember to bring a rain coat, wellies and sun cream! The event site is spread over a large area, and the terrain is uneven in places so please ensure that you wear suitable footwear especially if you plan to walk to Cross Country Course and browse the extensive offering of shops!

Do you allow dogs at Belton Horse Trials?

We encourage you to bring your four-legged friends to Belton with both - have a go - dog agility and a family dog show running over the weekend.

Please ensure that dogs are kept on a short lead and under control at all times. Not only is it incredibly dangerous if your dog gets loose but Belton - s Cross Country Courses run through beautiful deer parkland. Any owners with dogs found to be off the lead will incur a penalty fine (donated to the charity of our choice) and you may be asked to leave the site. Please ensure you clean up after your dogs.

What time do the gates open?

The gates open at 8am each morning with classes beginning at approximately 8.30am every day.


Is parking included in the ticket price?

Yes it is. Please follow the event signage which will direct you to where you need to park.

I - m a National Trust Member, can I come to the Horse Trials for free?

We - re afraid not. However we are running a number of promotional ticket offers for National Trust Members so please keep an eye on the website for details.
