10k Trail Run
Sunday 2nd April 2017
The Grantham Cup 10k Trail Run is the region’s favourite and most unique off road running experience and is hosted by Grantham Running Club. The race starts at 10am prompt – please allow plenty of time to access the event – the route into the horse trials may be busy.
Last year the run included the first ever Canicross entries to the Grantham Cup Race and this year we are hoping to make the race even more dog friendly! The run goes through the beautiful grounds at Belton House and takes in a mixture of gradients and offers some stunning views from the heights of Belmont Tower as well as passing through the majestic Deer Park.
Grantham Running Club are proud to be supporting a local community organisation, with profits from the race going to Foxdale Equine Assisted Learning (FEAL), a fantastic organisation operating locally at Oasby, offering support and help to young people and families living with life limiting or life threatening conditions.
Race entry is £12 for affiliated runners, £14 for non-affiliated, and includes:
- Free day entry to the main event for each runner only. Spend the day watching all the attractions or at the on-site shops, stalls and food courts
- Free specially commissioned bottle of Trail Ale for each finisher
- Prizes for top three finishers male and female, plus top vet and top canicross prizes
- Run under ARC permit
The event is likely to be very popular in 2017, so please tell your club and friends to enter early.
Please note there will be no entries on the day.
